Penmount Crematorium - Fire Rectification Works
Falmouth Hospital Bungalow
The schedule of work included the replacement of selected fire doors and linings; installation of new intumescent fire/smoke seals and supply and fit of panic hardware to doors.
At the same time a new fire alarm system was installed in the lodge building and the existing panel relocated in the main building. Emergency lighting and fire/smoke detectors were also installed.
Falmouth Hospital Bungalow
The building work involved the conversion of existing rooms to provide a Training Room, Meeting Room, Staff/Beverage Room and a disabled W.C.
The refurbishment comprised of:
- Replacing the existing timber windows with new Pvc-u windows and replacing the front door with a new aluminium door.
- Alteration to internal walls, new partitions, new doors and linings.
- New plasterboard and skim to all ceilings.
- Base units, wall units and worktops.
- Electrical installation including power, lighting, data points and a new fire alarm system.
- Plumbing and heating installation.
- Complete internal redecoration.
- New carpets and vinyl flooring.
- External works including a new concrete path.
This project ran concurrently with the Health Centre refurbishment work described below.
Falmouth Health Centre Practice
A challenging project to refurbish the Treatment Rooms as the site was within a 'live' Health Centre and in use during normal working hours.
This involved the remodelling of the internal layout to provide 2 Treatment Rooms, Sluice Room and a Preparation area/Lobby. The work consisted of new partitions; doors; cabinetry; plumbing and heating installation; electrical installation including upgrading the existing lighting and new data points; redecoration and new antislip vinyl flooring.
Lemon Quay Dental Care
We have completed re-modelling works at Lemon Quay Dental Care in Truro. The work comprised of altering existing and forming new curved partitions to surgery pods. The partitions were formed with a metal stud system, clad with two layers of glasroc board with a plaster skim finish.Also included as part of the work was the supply and fit of Altro flooring to a new surgery and a raised platform. All new work was decorated to match the existing surgery colour scheme.
Water Remedial Works for Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
To form or enlarge existing loft hatches, to allow for replacement of water tanks in Trust properties.
